Can't deploy vSAN

So I wanted to try out this product and saw there is a free version available. I signed up and downloaded it. I installed it to one of my VMs and went to deploy the vsan. After I select the 2 options and hit next it crashes completely. Tried many times and a second computer. I downloaded the 2 isos and tried selecting locally.
Looking at the help files it is step 8. It doesn't let me name the VM. I have ESXi 5.5. There isn't much more I can do. It was installed on server 2008 R2. Any suggestions?
