Newbie alert!

I keep a Hyper-V lab running on my Windows 8.1 system. I need to create a cluster (Symantec SFHA) and I need to share disks between 2 or more VM's.

Can someone provide some guidance? Can I just create a drive and attach it to 2 machines, or do I need a virtual SAN switch?

Any help is deeply appreciated

1. StarWind runs on top of the Windows Server starting from 2008 R2
2. I`m not sure why do you need Symantec SFHA if you are planning to create the shared storage using StarWind, so I~d appreciate if you could clarify that.
3. Since you are running on the Hyper-Vs, I think this guide will fit you well: http://www.starwindsoftware.com/styles- ... manual.pdf

Let me know if that helped please

It could be an accident that they are not paying attention to it, if it is an accident, then you have my apologies because it was not before. more info below.

Well I'm on Hyper-vs so that link you provided was very helpful. Thanks. I'm also a new member to the forum.
