No StarWind Service installed

I've installed starwind v.8 free on win 2k3 but no starwind service has been installed and when i try to connect to 127.0.0.1 i get an error like this: "starwind service not found un host ....."
Could you please help me?

Is starwind 8 compatible with win 2003 ???

The StarWind Virtual SAN is not compatible with WS2003.

Yes, customers who purchased commercial licenses can ask sales to give them the link for the version of the product they purchased.
Not sure if the same will work for free users though.
