Stuck in an interesting situation....

I added some new NICs to a hyper-converged dual Hyper-V setup and I now need to make some changes within StarWind.

My free license has expired so I can't do it through the management console, and I can't seem to find a StarWindX powershell cmdlet that will do the trick so I am stuck.

Wondering what the progress is on StarWindX? A "temp" license could also work too I guess.

ucdrfoster,

Could you be more precise on what you need to achieve at the moment? Additional details will be appreciated.

At the core, I would like to be able to modify the current configuration; everything from the general "server settings" to the individual disks from the command line versus the GUI.

It seems that all StarWindX can do (at least the version I have installed) is to create or remove/delete things and not modify what you currently have.

Part of my decision making process in choosing this product was the allure of good command line tools. That isn't to say that what is there isn't good, I think it is great, it is just incomplete.

agree. Starwind practicing kinda weird model of licensing - give all the features, but dont give management tools.
in fact, starwind is rock solid decision, but if you need reconfigure something in your instance...

got standalone host, this is ok for us. We dont need HA and other enterpise features, that costs money,no doubts, so why they dont sell these fuatures?
