hello, we've been using VSAN+free on our Hyper-V setup with cluster HA. We encountered issue on cluster and it has event error from Microsoft like below
"Cluster Shared Volume 'Volume1' ('Cluster Disk 2') has identified one or more active filter drivers on this device stack that could interfere with CSV operations. I/O access will be redirected to the storage device over the network through another Cluster node. This may result in degraded performance. Please contact the filter driver vendor to verify interoperability with Cluster Shared Volumes." Is this can be related to any VSAN Starwind setup? any logs can be extracted and determined? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Welcome to StarWind Forum! This issue is not related to StarWind VSAN.
In specific, it is coming from the Failover Cluster world. Some of the Microsoft Failover cluster filter drivers clashes with the third-party driver.
The issue is fixed by Windows Server updates and as it is shown here https://www.veeam.com/kb2058

Could be related to the Starwind VSAN setup—checking the logs for any filter driver conflicts might help pinpoint the issue. Good luck!

I think you are missing the important part of what CSV is. Check this out https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blo ... out/371872.
