iSCSI replication - how to calc. bandwidth bequirements?

We are evaluating a plan to use iSCSI replication to an off-site server.
Planned config is:
ESX Server <-- iSCSI --> StarWind Server 01
Then replicate StarWind Server 01 --> StarWind Server 02 (off site)
StarWind says the replication engine can work over low-bandwidth connections. What is StarWind's definition for 'low bandwidth'?
I need to determine the amount of data transfer that is required to find a suitable colo facility / WAN connection for the remote server.
Can anyone provide guidance on how to determine the amount of data that is transferred between the two sites when using StarWind iSCSI mirroring?
The only stats I can collect now are the 'Disk Write KB/sec' stats from my ESX server. Is this a fair number to use in calculating baseline bandwidth requirements or is there another way to calculate the amount of traffic / data that will actually be replicated over the WAN connection?
My trial has expired and I do not have any test system(s) on which I can test this.
