I can not find Starwind on the Vmware HCL? Am i wrong?

But i do see this:

StarWind Software Joins the VMware Technology Alliance Partner Program
BURLINGTON, MA — (Marketwire) — 06/16/09 — StarWind Software, a global leader in storage virtualization and iSCSI storage software, today announced it has joined the VMware Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program. The VMware TAP program helps technology vendors integrate their products with VMware virtualization software and deliver timely, joint solutions to mutual customers.

Q: Does this mean that Starwind will eventually be on the Vmware SAN HCL??
Q: Any vCenter users what does Vmware support say to you when you tell them you're using Starwind??

1. Yes, StarWind will be added to VmWare HCL. Now we are working on that.
2. Can you please tell me what is your problem of using StarWind with vCenter?

Is there any update on this issue? Are you close to being on the VMWare Storage HCL?

Thanks.

We'll be there soon. Sorry it takes THAT long, 4.0 -> 4.1 release and a bit changed verification sequence slowed down things a bit...

Any update on this? We won't consider buying any software for something this critical that's not on the HCL.

Mid January is only 4 weeks away - is this still on schedule?

Yes. But we're waiting for certification authority to find a timeslice for us. So I cannot guarantee anything - I simply don't control this...

Has there been any update to this? We're now into March (and ESX 4.1U1), and I still don't see StarWind on the HCL. We're about to start putting a spec for vendors to quote on, and if it's not in the HCL, it's not going to be an option for us.

Currently we are still working on VMware certification, that should be performed in the nearest future. We will surely keep you updated gmitch64.
