Hello,

while testing different functions i wanted to resize an image of a non HA virtual disk. Resizing was done very well. When i reconnected the resized image and remounted my harddisk in windows i had access to my volume and i was able to resize the volume in windows. No data was lost!

But what can i do to resize an HA image?

I tried to delete my HA targets and to build a new non HA target where the original HA image was mounted. But when i tried to mount this volume in windows i had to initialize it so that all data was gone. It was a perfectly clean volume then :-)

So "converting" a HA image to a "normal" image doesn't seem to be a good idea.

Is there a way to resize an HA image?

Greetings from Germany

Hello Peter,
There is one trick - when recreating a non-HA using exising image you need to set the header size to 65536
and then increase the image. that's the way it should work
