Hi:

First time user with starwind. Im trying to setup starwind and create my first target. Im following the steps in the getting started guide. When I attempt to create a target I get an error message...

The specified file cannot be opened because the file is being used. Failed: Specified File cannot be opened.

Any ideas? Im totally new with starwind here.

Probably you're trying to assign a name already in use. Do you happen to have StarWind service logs near your hands?

This is the first time im setting up a target. How can I go about attaching or viewing the logs? Are there entries in the system or application logs for windows server?

I think you just forget to type extension or click OK after specifying the name of the file in the opeb-dialog box.
Could you doublecheck that?
