I have a DL380 which I want to use as an iscsi target. Is is possible to make use of the iscsi feature pack with the onboard multifunction NICs? I tried to set up a small test system but could not see the iSCSI IP addresses as a network with the Starwinds console.

Hello, unfortunately we do not support HP iSCSI acceleration pack yet, so you need to turn the iSCSI acceleration off.
We're looking forward to implement hardware iSCSI acceleration support within next major release though.

It's not going to do any good to you in any case. I mean 1 GbE + iSCSI offload. Better throw money into full blown 10 GbE config. Same $$$ but ages faster for all TCP traffic.
