Hello everyone,

I'm using N-able Technologies' server monitoring agents to keep an eye on a few servers that are running Starwind. One of the requirements for monitoring is SNMP and so I wondered what, if any, MIBs existed. I will be creating a custom service using N-able's templates and it requires input of the MIBs.

Thanks,
Sean

Hi,

Thank you for your response.

Is there some other manner of remotely monitoring the SAN other than using SNMP? My company is a managed services provider and we'd like to know when a SAN fails before our customers have a chance to call us.

Thanks,
Sean

Upcoming version of StarWind will have WMI notifications so it will seamlessly integrate into OS monitoring. Also we'll provide Visual Basic and JavaScript scripts as an examples how to integrate our WMI events into whatever you want. Including SNMP monitors.

People keep asing for different things so I don't think we have one on schedule... Sorry for this!
