Do not install StarWind Management Console on Core Windows versions where there is no Graphical Interface (Windows Explorer).
Select "StarWind iSCSI Service" installation type.
Install the StarWind Management Console on any non-Core machine and manage StarWind service remotely.

Kind of strange... OK, let us check the stuff with our latest build. Thank you for your feedback!

Ok, an explanation and solution should be great. We are aming on upgrading all of our hyper-v 2 node clusters to v6.

I enabled full gui on the 2012 server and after that the installer worked.

Might it be that the installer shecks if there is a "gui" on the server and then run the installation differently? If so, have you taken in account the different types of gui in 2012?

New feature found :)

This is not our production nodes, just to test and verify stability of v6.0.

We have problems to configure HA. Seems like when though the option is available the setting is not accepted to run HB and sync on same NIC.

Dedicated heartbeat channel is required.
I mean there must be at least two dedicated channels between each pair of HA nodes (one for "Sync and heartbeat" and one for "Heartbeat only").

The HA configuration with 2 Nodes should look like on the attached image.
But instead of 2 sync channels you can use one during testing.
The GUI warning message will be corrected.
