I removed VMWare tools prior to converting. The conversion was successful. The VHD file are configured into a new VPC config. But it just keeps rebooting saying “loading windows files”
Suggestions?

Reboot into maintenance mode initiating new hardware rescan and new driver stack rebuild. What Windows do you run inside guest VM?

Tried the rescan still not booting correctly. I can get the VMWare image to boot, but not the virtual PC image

Just a little question - have you tried it with the Hyper-V?
