The situation is as follows.
1.The harddisk got filled-up. It had happened a few times before that with no problems.
2.The DDD showed an non-active, so I decided to remove it and attach it again.
3.I get error 13 when I try to attach it.

Here is the error log:

Can you tell me how to fix it or at least how to retrieve the data?

Hello martimarkov,

Can you provide us the StarWind version that you are currently running and the screenshot that illustrates that ANDROMEDA.spmetadata file is presented on the disk?

Thank you

Here is the screenshot and the StarWind version is 6.0.5275. Are there any tools for reading the plain spdata file in case we can't fix it at least to recover the data?

Okay, can somebody tell me how to read the spdata file? I want to get my data back. I don't see other solution. I was hoping that the software was good but if it happens that you loose data with just a software fault then it's worse than a hardware solution. If you tell me how you compress the information I can write myself an extractor and post it here after that.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I also checked and the files are not used by any other process. Any thoughts? I really need to get the system up and ready.

OK, just to confirm, the StarWind device was fulled and now you cannot mount the DD disk, correct?

If so, would you be so kind to send the logs that`d contain the records on the time when you are trying to mount the disk and the starwind config file to support@starwindsoftware.com (please put the reference to this topic in your email)?

Thank you

I just emailed you the requested files.
And yes the physical disk got filled up after that I removed the DDD and after that I can't add add it again. It gives error 13.

It seams like the DD device was broken due to the fact that data continued to upload on it while there was insufficient of disk space on the drive where the StarWind DD device was stored. Before this issue you was getting lucky, and successfully mounted the DD after that failure, but not this time unfortunately.

Our R&D are currently working on getting the tool to get the data out of the DD file. It should take couple of business days. We`ll get you posted.
