Can you answer the question if it will require downtime during an upgrade or will it sync off a V6 partner?

For release we'll do our best you're not going to put anything down to upgrade.

Sorry for the delay guys!
We still need some time to improve our product to the point, where it gonan rock realy hard. We just don`t want to give you the Geely instead of Ferrari.
Thanks for your patience.

I'm eagerly looking forward to the release, but, no offense, we've been hearing this same line for several months including ETAs that have come and gone.
Other vendors are forging ahead with feature releases, even the hypervisor vendors themselves (see VMware's VSAN currently in beta). Being a Starwind user for quite some time it's hard to wait it out while other products blaze ahead.

Really? Blaze ahead? StarWind had offered native hypervisor supported SAN in 2011 two years before VMware is still in beta. So I'm not sure who's egg and who's chicken.
Beta build is passing final verificaion so you'll have it very soon.

Not "blaze ahead," I said "forge ahead."
I'm just venting because it's difficult to be patient for what I'm sure will be a great release and we're all very, very anxious to try it out.
