Hi,

What is the best way to migrate the data from one drive on the StarWind server to another? All of my devices are on one drive as thin disks and I'd like to move them all onto a new drive. I would also like to do this to see if it reclaims any deleted space.

Thanks

Hi!
Just copy-paste everything from the client machine side.
Just to be sure about the data consistency I`d reomend you to turn off all the VMs and other workloads before moving the data.

If you are using ESXi you can use the StorageMotion feature, that`ll do the job on-fly. Please note that you need to have corresponding vSphere license to use it.
