Did you manage to have your issue solved with Dimitry? Do you still need any assistance from our side?

Any updates on when the fix will be released?

Will the fix be released as a part of the next version update or as an independent patch?

Thanks.

The issue is already fixed, but the latest build has no this fix. It should be available in the upcoming release.

Please stay tuned. Thank you.

Hello,

I see that a fix will be issued for this problem "invalid partner info" however it would be great to know when the fix and or patch will be released. I am currently testing a DR setup which will use Starwind as the core product for storage and HA. I can not set up HA as I keep getting the above error when trying to set up the remote server. Is there an ETA on the release of the fix?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I have asked a StarWind engineer about new release date during a recent remote session call last week. Tech guy told me that it's already in a testing phase and will be released to public on 1st of September.

Hello,

Has this issue been fixed? Some posts indicate that is has been and others suggest it hasn't. I would really like to move forward on my project, but am not able to since this error "invalid partner info" creating Replica" keeps coming up even after a reinstall. Please contact me via email or via the forum since I am hoping to test my setup as part of a DR testbed.

There is no public release without this issue. But...

Yeah... 1st of September was my hope :)

Just ensure that your host name resolution works properly. In StarWind Management Console when you add a server it should also have a name (not only IP address). If both names are there, everything works fine.

Hi All,

So, my DNS/Name resolution is working fine, however this problem still persists. How are you supposed to test a product that they say they are going to fix, and then not have a fix for the public release. I have my setup ready to try for a new version/fixed version and have been patiently waiting for a patched or new version of the SAN software. If they can't get me a fixed copy, then I will have to look for another product. Come on now, can't your software engineers get the fix out to us folks who need it?

Regards,

Eric G.

Trust me, guys, there are a lot of fixes, improvements and features coming within a new build. And they definitely need to be tested as thorough as possible. It's almost there. Really :)

Hi Tera,

How soon are we talking roughly? My boss is getting rather impatient and is waiting to see progress on my part with my DR concept setup, of which Starwind will be a major part. I can say I blame him for being impatient, especially since we have a lot of equipment just waiting for the fix. Can you email me as soon as the new build is available?

Regards,
