Hi,

Due too some network issues, our two node cluster failed. It is back up again, and I know which node contains the most recent data. However; the option mark as synchronized is greyed out.
The second node does have the mark as synchronized option availble. As a test, I tried to mark the witness disk as synchronized on this node. It gives me the following error: Failed to mark Device as Synchronized. Failed: Operation cannot be completed. Current node has the partner node(s) in syncrhonized state.

I also ran syncHAdevice script on the node with the most recent data. It says; Device HAImage1 is synchronized. It wont start syncing though.

How can i fix this?

Hello Jortie,
Please check devices synchronization state on both nodes. From your description, it looks like you have the partner node synchronized.
If you 100% sure which node has the most recent data, please follow the next steps:
1. Stop StarWind service on the node which contains (as you know) outdated data;
2. Using StarWind Management Console, connect to the node which has the most recent data and mark devices there as synchronized;
3. Start the Production and check if it is actual (last changes should be on the moment of failure);
4. Once, you confirm that Production has a valid data, you can start the service on the node from step 1;
5. Wait while the full synchronization process will be completed;

Since, from your description, you have got both nodes not synchronized due to network issues, I would highly recommend you connect nodes directly for the StarWind synchronization traffic and set separate network interfaces for iSCSI / StarWind Heartbeat traffic.
Also, please make sure that you are using the latest StarWind build. The steps for StarWind update are described here: https://knowledgebase.starwindsoftware. ... d-version/
