Hi,
for a migration Task I have to setup a single Node vsan first and add a second node with HA later. I have to move some HDDs from local datastores to the 2nd vsan node. However to do so I have to get the data migrated to the first vsan node first.
How can this be done using powershell (as I'm using vsan free, evaluationtime for management interface has already expired)? I have successfully created fresh HA-Devices and Single imagefiles using the powershellexamples but I can't find a way to add HA to an existing imagefile using powershell by looking at the examples or the starwindx documentation.
Any help appreciated.
Holger

Holger, unfortunately this functionality is not available in the current implementation of StarWindX. Yet, it is on our roadmap and will be added in one of the upcoming builds.

Hi Boris,
thank you for the quick reply. Is there a schedule for that kind of functionality? Also is this something that will work with the free starwind-manager, as it's anounced to have starwind-management in the upcoming release. If yes, any schedule on that?
Thanks again,
Holger

...btw, just as quick thought: can this be done using telnet to the management interface somehow? I'm using telnet already to visualize the status of 2 nodes in the browser, however it seems to me that there is no help available for that. It just says "RTFM" when putting in some command that it does not know
Regards
Holger
