Hi there,

Is it possible to convert VMs with snapshots from VMware to Hyper-V?
Other v2v tools could not convert VMs with snapshots from VMware to Hyper-V.
Does starwind v2v converter convert VMs with snapshots from VMware to Hyper-V?

Thanks,

Welcome to StarWind Forum! Please merge the snapshots before conversion.

I have a similar issue where I'm trying to convert VMs with snapshots from VMware to Hyper-V Other V2V tools haven't been able to handle VMs with snapshots. Does StarWind V2V Converter support converting VMs with snapshots from VMware to Hyper-V?

It's always better to merge the snapshots before conversion.

When I try to migrate virtual machines (VMs) with snapshots from VMware to Hyper-V, I run into a similar problem. VMs with snapshots have proven difficult for other V2V solutions to handle.

Merge them before conversion. The V2V is taking its own snapshot. V2V is targeting the disk not a snapshot.
