Hi@all,
today I have install Starwind on phys. Server W2k8_x64 with Raid10 .The server has the Hyper-V Role with total phys. 4 Nics.
The ISCSI Nic is conected to a separate Switch and has his own VM-Bus.
For my first tests i have install 2 VMs with W2K8_Ent_x86 for Clustering, but after i've initiated the two ISCSI-Disk to Node 1, I got a failure at the end of the formating the Quorumdisk and Resourcedisk.
Thanks for help.

Start with sending us complete Starwind log. What you've told is not enough to tell what's wrong.

Hi Anton,
today we sent you the logs. For your information we reinstall Starwind and
StarwindVSS complete on our phy. targethost. Also we install a new
VM too and connected it to the ISCSI-Target via MS Initiator without any problems. But only we're unable to format (NTFS) the ISCSI-Imagedisk.
Could it be possible that Starwind didn't work with MS-Hyper-Bus togehter ? I hope not.

Did you assign drive letter and correctly partition your disk before? What size did you use for it? 2TB+ or not?

Did you find a resolution to this issue? I seem to be having the exact same problem...
Thx
Alex

It has passed more then 3 years since reported issue. There are not so many components inside StarWind core left with such a long history so I have no idea do you really have the same issue or not. Start with re-producing the problem and sending us complete StarWind log for analysis. Thanks!
