Hi. I have updated the Starwind software to version 5.8.1889.0 and i have noticed that the iSCSI storage started to behave funny. The storage just crashes and the hosts are losing connection with the storage. Has anyone experienced this with this version? Thank you!

No, it's the most stable build we had for years. Please provide StarWind log for crash situation (I mean both own log and system minidumps) and also be ready to provide your purchase details & ASM status and be ready to help us we could arrange remote debug session.

alexandru,

It is nice to hear that installing our new build fixed the issue.

Feel free to get in touch with us if it`ll be needed.

The same location where you've downloaded your previous one - we've just replaced setup executable :)

Thanks. I assume since I'm at 5.8 HA already, that upgrading to the most recent build won't require me to take my VMs offline during the upgrade process? Just upgrade first node, sync, then upgrade 2nd node, sync?

YES

It's a whole purpose of having HA - never interrupt a production service.
