Backup plugin cannot add hyper-v server

I'm currently trying the backup-plugin, however i cannot add the Hyper-V server

Situatation:

1 node cluster running Hyper-V server 2012
1 starwind iSCSI SAN node
1 starwind backup server

Problem is, if I try to add the Hyper-V server, it will be added as a backup server instead of a hyper-v server. I would like to add Hyper-V servers to the existing backup server, however that doesn't seem to work.
