On my Starwind 2-nodes, I have one pci-e slot left, which is occupied by Intel 4 ports gb nic.
I am thinking about replacing it and put in a dual-port 10Gb nic. How do I go about migrating it to the 10Gb network ?
This is what I have in mind.
Shutdown the vm host.
Replace nic card on both starwind host
One 10Gb port from each node goes to the switch
One 10Gb port from each node interconnect for sync, or should I put it into the switch as well ?
Since I used to have 2 IPs from each starwind nodes that's doing iSCSI, I will keep one of the IP and assign it to the new 10Gb port, so the system won't be confused and messed up the CSV ?
Is this the right way to do it, or did I miss anything?
Thanks.
