What I have done so far:
BTW: I did see a few unmap/trim in the logs before, but the size on disk was the same.
1) I deleted that lun, and created a new one in v8b7774 (1024GB in size)
using LSFS, with 128 L1 cache, 512 sector size, no option for dedup & defrag.
it created a few files:
ISOdisk2.spsp 12,288k
ISOdisk2.swdsk 4k
ISOdisk2_3.spspx 528384k
ISOdisk2_4.spspx 528384k
then I copy a VM(41.5GB) from my NFS to the iSCSI lun I just created.
I use esxi->config->storage->browse to do the copy and paste.
now I am up to ISOdisk2_73.spspx, when the copy was completed.
total size of my ISOdisk2 directory is now 35.7GB with 73 files.
So I went from 41.5GB on my NFS to 35.7GB on my iSCSI Lun. Nice

since I copy the VM I will have to add it to my inventory and power it up and do a little work like start a few program and close them and see how this new LSFS handle everything a can throw at it.

Thanks.
