Hi,

When attempting to convert a Hyper-V VM, where Hyper-V is running on the same machine as StarWind V2V Converter, and choosing Proxmox as a target, where I'm able to connect to the Proxmox Web UI, SSH to this machine, etc. (this is just a single Proxmox test node), the StarWind UI indicates "Connecting. Please wait..." forever.

The log file is filled with:
4/9 16:29:01.239 1dc0 Facility ???INFO: Proxmox::WrapperProxmox::WrapperProxmoxImpl::GetDiskPath: Get storage info lists
4/9 16:29:04.239 1dc0 Facility ???INFO: Proxmox::WrapperProxmox::WrapperProxmoxImpl::GetDiskPath: Get storage info lists
4/9 16:29:07.254 1dc0 Facility ???INFO: Proxmox::WrapperProxmox::WrapperProxmoxImpl::GetDiskPath: Get storage info lists
4/9 16:29:10.266 1dc0 Facility ???INFO: Proxmox::WrapperProxmox::WrapperProxmoxImpl::GetDiskPath: Get storage info lists

I have left it like this for 6+ hours, and it is still doing this.

Any idea what is failing when it is talking to Proxmox? I'm positive the username/password is correct.

Thanks!

Eric

What build do you use? Try converting the VM disks to files and resemble the VM in Proxmox

Hyper-V is running on the same machine as the StarWind V2V adapter? Could this change anything?

Can you please rephrase your question?
P2V is possible. StarWind V2V does not clash with Hyper-V role, AFAIK.

I tried to reply to this long ago, but your site rejected my source IP (our traffic flows through our corporate firewalls).

We are using the latest version (it was downloaded and installed right before I submitted that ticket - after waiting).

We are working on fixing the conversion to Proxmox. Try converting VM disks to files.
